Fortnite Chapter 6: Season 2 - How To Complete All Midas Wanted Quests (2025)

Midas has returned to Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2, and players can help him through his quests. There are a few things you have to do to earn Midas' trust and help him out, and it can be lengthy. Luckily, once you finish the first one, you can do the rest of the quest after he learns to trust you.

One thing that you absolutely need to do before starting this quest is to get and upgrade an Outlaw Keycard and get all the way to a rare keycard. You're going to need to finish the first 10 Black Market quests to have a high-enough quality card. This will also give you access to the Outlaw Chest, which you also need. Once you have it, you can start your quest to help Midas in Fortnite.

How To Complete Stage 1 of the Outlaw Midas Quest

To Get Midas To Trust You, Attend a Shadow Briefing

This first part is the easiest to do in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2. All you have to do is find a Job Board location and attend a Shadow Briefing. All you need to do is look for and interact with any job board. This means you can go to an Armory, Supply Drop, or Treasure Job Board, which will count to finish the first part of this quest.

This goes exactly how you would think it would, and Midas still needs more from you before he will fully trust you. This is where your quest would end if you didn't have an Outlaw Keycard. However, if you have an Outlaw Keycard, you can go a bit further, but not much. Make sure you use this time to level up your keycard if you're not already at a rare level.

Spend Bars In The Black Markets To Gain The Outlaws' Trust

You have to spend 1,000 Gold Bars in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2, specifically at the Black Market. This can be on anything, as long as the result is that you've spent 1,000 Gold Bars total. It is a high number of bars, but if you have played for a while, you likely already have this number just sitting around. Since the amount you have resets every season, it's not a bad idea to waste a lot on this quest.

Once you have spent the 1,000 Gold, you're going to need a rare Outlaw Keycard to move on from here. That means finishing at least 10 quests for the Black Market. So make sure to do as many as you can, but looting the vault at Outlaw Oasis will get you through at least one of the quests quickly.

How To Complete Stage 3 of the Outlaw Midas Quest

Use Your Rare or Better Outlaw Keycard to Open The Outlaw Chest

Once you have a rare or better Outlaw Keycard in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2, you can finish this part of the quest. Go into the Black Market again and walk up to the Outlaw case. You can unlock the Outlaw case just by having the rare keycard, but you have to be the first one there, so do this immediately after dropping at one of Fortnite's best landing spots.

Once it's open, you'll have finished this part, which is pretty easy. It is likely that the developers have something in mind for the future, and they just want you to get used to leveling up your Outlaw Keycard. Using the game's arguably most popular antagonist, Midas, is probably the best way to do it.

You'll notice that the quest will be a lot easier from here than those that came before. This is because there were a lot of prerequisites that you needed just to get to this point. However, if you started this mission line with a rare Outlaw Keycard and over 1,000 gold bars, it will likely be very easy for you.

How To Complete Stage 4 of the Outlaw Midas Quest

Use A Sensor Backpack to Scan Mysterious Energy Signatures

Now you have to go and find the sensor backpack in Fortnite Chapter 6, season 2. You can find it between Canyon Crossing and Crime City, where it will be on the right side of Predator Peak. Once you get close, you'll see an exclamation point on your minimap; follow that to the backpack. Look for these spots after:

• The first one can be found to the right of Predator Peak, near where you are.
• The second can be found on the left side of Predator Peak.
• The last one is found right in front of Predator Peak.

Once you have the backpack on, you'll get a new short tie quest, and it's really just telling you to walk around your current area. It's not hard, and the places appear on your minimap right after getting the backpack. Really, you're just following your map to the exclamation points. The three sources you're looking for are listed above.

How To Complete Stage 5 of the Outlaw Midas Quest

Steal A Copy of the Mask-Making Book

Stealing a copy of the Mask-Making Book is actually really easy if you know where to go in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2. All you have to do is head to the masked maker's hideout in Masked Meadows. Head to Masked Meadows and go to the nearby porta-potty; it will take you where you need to go.

As soon as you leave the porta-potty, make a right and head down until you reach the first opening. From there, head left and follow the path until you reach the room with the stairs. The book is on the ground.

How To Complete Stage 6 of the Outlaw Midas Quest

Find Midas One Last Time

This is the easiest part of the Outlaw Midas quest in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2. All you have to do is head to the Black Market north of Masked Meadows. You can find this in the only building at the Black Market location marked on the map. Just head inside and go down the ramp to find the entrance.

Once inside, go deeper in until you reach the point where you are asked for your keycard. From there, go down the stairs, and Midas will hang out in the center of the room. You can move on with the Outlaw Midas quest by talking to Midas. Once that's done, you will officially finish this questline in Fortnite.
