There are 20 gold medals up for grabs on day nine of the Paris Olympics on Sunday, including in athletics, tennis, golf and cycling.

Team GB athletes and medal hopes

Zharnel Hughes and Louie Hinchliffe have both qualified for the men's 100m semi-finals, which take place at 7pm ahead of the final at 8.55pm, with Hinchliffe winning his heat ahead of world champion Noah Lyles.

British record holder Keely Hodgkinson, Jemma Reekie and Phoebe Gill will contest the women's 800m semi-finals at 7.40pm, before the men's 1500m semi-finals feature Team GB's Josh Kerr, George Mills and Neil Gourley at 8.15pm.

European record holder Matthew Hudson-Smith and Charlie Dobson will also get going in the men's 400m heats at 6.05pm, while Dina Asher-Smith and Daryll Neita will feature in the women's 200m heats earlier in the day.

Away from athletics, Team GB's Tommy Fleetwood is just a shot off the lead going into the final round of the men's golf competition, where Jon Rahm sits top of a star-studded leaderboard alongside two-time major champion Xander Schauffele.

Charlotte Fry, Carl Hester and Becky Moody will now compete individually in the dressage final, following on from their team bronze, with Team GB looking to add to the four equestrian medals they have already won in the Games.

In shooting, Amber Rutter holds the joint-lead heading into the final two rounds of qualification, starting at 8.30am, before the top six progress to the final later in the afternoon.

There are three individual apparatus finals with British involvement in the gymnastics on Sunday, with Harry Hepworth involved in the rings final at 2pm and the vault at 3.25pm. Jake Jarman will also be in the men's vault final, while Beckie Downie will feature on the uneven bars at 2.40pm.

Lizzie Deignan becomes the first British female cyclist to compete at four Olympic Games as she features in the women's road race, which gets under way at 1pm. Pfeiffer Georgi, Anna Morris and Anna Henderson are also involved for Team GB.

Tom Hall will go up against Germany's Florian Unruh in the men's individual archery last 16 at 9.48am, with the gold medal won later in the day, while Team GB's men's hockey team face India in the quarter-finals on Sunday morning.

In the pool, the men's 4x100m medley relay team will go for gold at 6.10pm, with Mallory Franklin and Kimberley Woods involved in the women's kayak cross heats during the afternoon action.

• 1810 - Fencing - Men's foil medal matches (gold match not before 1930)
• 1810 - Swimming - Men's 4x100m medley relay final
• 1832 - Swimming - Women's 4x100 medley relay final
• 1855 - Athletics - Women's high jump final
• 1930 - Athletics - Men's hammer throw final
