TONIGHT, COMMUNITY MEMBERS GATHERED WHERE WEST PALM BEACH WOMAN WAS LAST SEEN TO PRAY FOR HER SAFE RETURN AND CALL ON ANYONE WHO KNOWS SOMETHING ABOUT HER DISAPPEARANCE TO COME FORWARD. STEVE KING SHOWS US WHAT LAURA WILSEY’S FAMILY HAD TO SAY EARLIER TONIGHT. THESE FLOWERS LAY ON THE SIDEWALK OUTSIDE OF 56 YEAR OLD LAURA WILSEY’S HOME HERE ON GARDEN AVENUE IN WEST PALM BEACH. THIS IS WHERE SHE WAS LAST SEEN ON JULY 29TH. HER FAMILY SAYS THEY’RE LOSING HOPE, AND RIGHT NOW, ALL THEY CAN DO IS PRAY FOR HER AND HOPE THAT SOMEONE WITH INFORMATION CALLS POLICE RIGHT AWAY. AT SATURDAY NIGHT’S PRAYER VIGIL, LAURA WILSEY’S FAMILY AND FRIENDS GATHERED OUTSIDE OF HER HOME ON GARDEN AVENUE, WHERE SHE WAS LAST SEEN. THERE THEY PLAYED SOME OF HER FAVORITE SONGS AND SHARED WORDS ABOUT THE PERSON SHE IS. WE’RE NOT CONFIDENT THAT SHE’S GOING TO BE FOUND ALIVE BECAUSE TOO MUCH TIME HAS GONE BY. SO WE’RE KIND OF BRACE OURSELVES FOR WHATEVER COMES NEXT. I ASKED THE FAMILY WHAT THEY CAN SHARE ABOUT WHAT THEY’VE BEEN GOING THROUGH OVER THIS LAST MONTH. I CAN’T I WON’T EVEN BE ABLE TO TALK. I CAN’T DO THAT. I HAVE TO SAY GOODBYE TO MY SISTER, AND I DON’T WANT TO. ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO, THE WEST PALM BEACH POLICE DEPARTMENT SHARED THIS AT A NEWS CONFERENCE. SOMEBODY KNOWS SOMETHING. SOMEBODY HAS INFORMATION. BUT ALL THIS TIME LATER AND NO ONE HAS LED POLICE TO LAURA WILSEY AND HER FAMILY USED SATURDAY’S VIGIL TO PLEAD WITH THE COMMUNITY ONCE MORE. Now, more than a month later, her family and friends say they are losing hope, and now all they can do is pray for her while hoping someone with information tells police what they know. There, they played some of her favorite songs and shared words about the person she is."We’re not confident that she’s going to be found alive because too much time has gone by, so we are trying to brace ourselves for whatever comes next,” said Brenda Willsey, Laura Willsey's sister. About three weeks ago, the West Palm Beach Police Department shared at a news conference that someone in the community has information and that person needs to come forward.However, all this time later, no one has led the police to Laura Willsey.
